just got back from a mini trip to ruidoso, lots of fun. i'm pooped. taco's mom and grandma are visiting for the week, leave tomorrow... they sent us without baby so it was extra fun but man did i miss my baby!!!!

Half-Nekkid Baby!!! | | |
| Sidney made another big accomplishment last night... he slept the
ENTIRE night through!!! He is already really good at sleeping during
the night, but usually wakes up once and really all he needs is a
pacifier to go back to sleep (I think the sucking motion wakes him up
since he does it in his sleep and if there's not anything to actually
suck on, he wakes). But last night he fell asleep around 8:15pm after
finishing half of his bottle (another accomplishment since he usually
only lasts through an ounce of the bedtime meal) and when I left for
work at 6am this morning, he was STILL SLEEPING!!!!
I almost
woke him up at 11pm to feed him again since I was still up and he
usually eats every 3 hours, I thought that might help make it another 6
hours till I had to get up. Apparently he didn't need that 11pm
feeding!!
Taco got home from work at 5:30am and said "He's still
sleeping? How do you get so lucky? He always wakes up after two hours
for me." I reminded him that he's home during the day time aka play
time and this is night time we're talking about! Not many parents can
brag that their 14 week old baby slept through the night :o) | | |
| i call this a random post because i only post at random now. too busy for regular blogs anymore. -=-=- my rant of the day at work: "do you ever get mad about people not going to get more big coffee cups? there are always an abundance of small ones but nobody goes to get more big ones when they just took the last one. it pisses me off just about as much as when a person doesn't replace a roll of toilet paper they just used. you go for one purpose (coffee/crap) and you get there and find the one thing you need most (cup/tp) isn't there, so you have to go get more of that one thing and therefore that delays you from fulfilling your purpose." -=-=- Katie Holmes gave birth to the TomKitten the same day that Brooke Shields gave birth to her second child. Nevermind the fact that they both gave birth to girls. Just remember that Tom is widely known to have beaten Brooke to the ground with the whole post-partum depression issue. We all know how much I hope (for Katie's and now also Suri's sake) that TomKat becomes nothing more than a thing of the past and Katie moves on. My theory is that Katie develops post-partum and the depression brings her off of this high that Tom has her drugged into, and she comes to her senses and leaves the madman. -=-=- Case in Point -=-=- in other baby news, congratulations are in order for mama robyn and mama sarah! both ladies are now expecting their second little bundles of joy! i have another friend who is busy making a baby too but i don't know how public she wants it to be yet, but still a big congrats to her! since sidney already has a girlfriend (and another one on the way...i told you, he's already a pimp), she has decided that she is making a boy play buddy for him for when he gets tired of all the estrogen. :oD | | |
